Drilling Mud Additive

The oil and gas industry uses calcium chloride in drilling mud to cool and lubricate the drilling bit. It also helps increase the density of the mud to overcome formation pressures and keep oil, gas, and water in place. Sodium Sulphite is used directly with drilling heads and tubing to reduce corrosion caused by oxygen. This corrosion causes natural minerals to leak into the environment, which contaminates the environment.

Water Softening
Water softeners are made from phosphoric acid. Softeners remove calcium and magnesium from "hard" water. Insoluble deposits cling to laundry and washing machines if these ions are not removed.

Textile Dyeing
The textile industry centers around dyeing as one of its most important processes. Fabric quality is affected by the presence of chlorine during dyeing. A salt meta bisulphite solution helps remove chlorine from fabrics before dyeing, thereby improving fabric quality.
Chemical Synthesis

It is used as a catalyst or a monomer to manufacture certain products by using sodium metabisulphite as a reagent in chemical transformations. An operation that involves one or more chemical reactions to produce a product or multiple products from a reactant or starting material.

Freidel Craft Catalyst & Additive
In dyestuffs (Green Pigment), pharmaceuticals, perfumes, and pharmaceuticals, aluminium chloride anhydrous is used as a catalyst, especially in Friedel-Crafts reactions.
As a nucleating agent in the manufacture of Titanium Dioxide pigments, it is also used in ion exchange resins, lubricants, wood preservatives, crude oil refining, and ion exchange resins.
